The 2019 Cannes Film Festival will run 14 - 25 May. As with last year, this breaks with tradition by starting the festival on a Tuesday and finishing on a Saturday (previously it was Wed-Sun).

Ahead of the festival there are a raft of deadlines for film submissions and accreditation. For the 2019 festival, the deadlines are:

Accreditation
Festival accreditation - 1 April (25 April with €100 fee)
Market accreditation - 1 March (30 April with late registration fee)
Press accreditation - 31 March
Cinephiles accreditation - 1 March
