Flights to Cannes
If you're flying to Cannes for the Film Festival (or another event) then your main point of entry will be Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (airport code NCE). After Paris, Nice is the second busiest air destination in France so is well serviced by low-cost airlines in Europe and long haul carriers from most other major centres. A smaller airport, Cannes-Mandelieu (airport code CEQ), closer to the city, but this is primarily used by private jets and charter flights.

Airport Transfers From Nice Côte d’Azur
Cannes is located about 32km (20 miles) southwest of Nice on France’s Côte d’Azur (known to English-speakers as the French Riviera). The simplest way to get to Cannes from Nice airport is via the direct shuttle bus (No. 210). The journey take around 45 minutes and a return ticket is around 25€. For the financially-challenged, local bus route 200 also leaves from both airport terminals. It takes while to get to Cannes due to the number of stops, but at a couple of euros for a ticket you can’t argue with the price.
A taxi from Nice airport to Cannes is likely to be at least 90€, but if money is no object, a helicopter service is also available for around 450€ with a 15 minute transfer time.
