- Australian Film Commission - Advice and help for Australian filmmakers registering and attending the festival.
- Cape Film Commission - Government sponsored body for filmmakers in South Africa's Western Cape area.
- Irish Film Board - Sponsored by the Irish Government, provides loans and equity investment to independent Irish filmmakers and also works to improve the marketing, sales and distribution of Irish films and to promote training and development in all areas of filmmaking.
- MEDIA Programme of the European Union - The EU's initiative to support the audio-visual industry in Europe. Includes grants for training film professionals, some of which can be used to attend events like Cannes.
- New Producers Alliance - British organisation for new and independent filmmakers. The NPA provides a range of support for its members in Cannes, and throws an annual party!
- New Zealand Film Commission - Help and advice for Kiwi filmmakers attending the festival.
- Telefilm Canada - Canadian government sponsored organisation to help promote Canadian filmmaking and filmmakers.
- UK Film Council - The primary organisation in the UK charged with supporting filmmakers and the film industry.
- Unifrance - Unifrance is an organisation sponsored by the French Government charged with spreading French culture to other countries. They also manage the festival accreditation process for several professional disciplines (however you can't obtain accreditation online).
