Films Un Certain Regard for 2011
Created in 1978 to absorb several festival sidebars, Un Certain Regard is the main showcase section of the Festival. It is intended to be a survey of current world cinema, and consequently there are no awards or prizes. Films that achieve 'official selection' are screened in this section, as even merely being invited to screen your film at Cannes is an honour unto itself.
