In keeping with recent tradition, the 2012 Cannes Film Festival is guaranteed some star-power on opening night as festival supremo, Thierry Fremaux, announces Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom will open this years event. The film stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, and Tilda Swinton.
